In accordance with the No Surprises Act, we are required to provide clients who choose to pay out-of-pocket (i.e., without insurance) with an estimate of the expected cost of services. This is called a Good Faith Estimate (GFE).
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
A Good Faith Estimate outlines the cost of therapy services you can reasonably expect when self-paying. Its purpose is transparency, helping you plan ahead and avoid unexpected charges.
Who receives a Good Faith Estimate?
You will receive a one if you are not using health insurance or you choose to waive your health insurance coverage.
Our rates at Branch Lane Psychotherapy:
Individual Psychotherapy (45–55 minutes): $350
Actual costs may vary based on session frequency and treatment length. You have the right to request a personalized Good Faith Estimate at any time.
Important Notes:
• This estimate is informational and not a contract — you are not obligated to commit to a set number of sessions.
• You may request a revised estimate if your treatment plan changes.
• If you are billed more than $400 above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge.
