Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers to help you feel informed, supported, and confident as you take the next step.

Where are you located?

Branch Lane Psychotherapy offers telehealth services in New York, Florida, and California. In-person sessions are available in Jacksonville and Saint Johns, Florida, depending on clinician availability.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. We provide virtual therapy sessions to clients located in New York, Florida, and California. Services are available only to clients who are physically located in states where a Branch Lane clinician is licensed at the time of the session.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept several insurance plans.

If your provider is not in-network with your insurance, you may still be able to use your benefits. We can provide a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

What is the fee for each session?

At Branch Lane Psychotherapy, we are committed to providing high-quality care with transparency and fairness.
Our standard session fee is $350.

We recognize that financial barriers can make accessing care difficult. For this reason, we offer a sliding scale based on income, financial need, and individual circumstances. This approach allows us to support accessibility while maintaining sustainable, high-quality clinical care.

You are encouraged to discuss your situation openly with our team. Our goal is to co-create a fee arrangement that feels respectful, equitable, and workable for you.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.

What can I expect in my first session?

Your first session is guided by your needs, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before you arrive.

We provide gentle structure and support, helping you explore what matters most while creating a safe, comfortable space. Together, we’ll find a pace and approach that feels right for you.

How often should I come to therapy?

The frequency of therapy depends on your individual needs and goals.

Many people begin with weekly sessions, while others may benefit from meeting more frequently for additional support. Over time, this may change. Together, we’ll find a rhythm that best supports your growth and healing.

You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone

If you’re ready to better understand what’s been shaping your experience and explore new ways of relating to yourself and your life, we’re here to help. Therapy at Branch Lane offers a thoughtful, collaborative space to begin this work at a pace that feels right for you.
